Join us in Bromley High Street for the Solar Eclipse on Friday 20th March 2015.
The OAS Outreach Group will be holding a session of pavement astronomy on the morning of Friday 20th March 2015 to view the partial eclipse of the Sun (84%) occuring that day.
Join them at Bromley High Street (South end of the pedestrianised market area), junction with Ethelbert Road, outside the Metro Bank between 08:00 and 11:00 (eclipse times 08:25 to 10:41 ~ maximum eclipse at 09:31) to watch the partial eclipse safely through special telescopes. All society members and members of the public are welcome to attend and join the experience. No tickets required as it is FREE; just turn up. The Outreach group will look forward to you joining them.
The next eclipse of the Sun (an annular one) will not occur in the UK until 2021.
